Required Supplies:
Tools
□ The “Add a Quarter Ruler Plus” by CM Designs
□ Printer paper, or your preferred FPP paper (newsprint, vellum, etc.). While printed pattern pieces are included, we always recommend preserving the originals by copying them.
□ Roll-n-Press or other seam pressing tool
□ Optional: washable glue stick
□ Optional: 7/16” or 5/8” diameter wood dowel, about 20” long
□ Lightweight transparent tape (e.g., Scotch tape) for taping pattern pieces together
Fabric (use quilting cotton for all fabrics)
□ ¼ yard of red for barn and star points, or multiple 1/8th yards of various reds for a scrappy look
□ 1/8 yard of white for barn trim and star centers
□ ONE 4”x4” square of black for barn window
□ 1/3 yard of light blue for sky and star backgrounds, or multiple Fat Quarters (18”x22”) of various blues for a scrappy look
□ 1/8 yard of green or yellow for ground, or a scrap that is at least 14”x 2-½”
□ ¼ yard of dark blue for borders
□ ¼ yard of dark blue for binding and optional hanging loops
□ 5/8 yard of backing
□ ONE 20” x 20” scrap of batting
