These are my original foundation paper piecing designs printed on vellum (semi-transparent) paper, and pieced with batik (hand-dyed) fabric. When the piece is placed in front of a window, its seam allowances block more light, making them appear to be the lattice in a stained glass. The stitching that created the piece is visible on the reverse.
